SouthWestSensor Ltd launching new online analyser range

SouthWestSensor Ltd ('SWS'), a UK based provider of advanced water quality monitoring solutions aimed at improved efficiencies across the whole water cycle to promote sustainability and protect the environment, has launched a new online analyser range.

The fixed installation analysers can be used for monitoring nitrite/nitrate, ammonia or phosphate. Targeted use cases include environmental monitoring, effluent monitoring and process control. Pre-filtration options are also offered to extend utility to wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) and inflow.

A WWTP pilot trial has been started together with partner ENWA. This is aimed at improved phosphorus removal via continuous monitoring of phosphate before and after treatment, with chemical dosing adjusted based on inflow readings.
